'Please let us walk with you’

Wednesday   9-30-15  Barcelona, Spain

Scripture reading:    Zech 7-9   Luke 13

S=Scripture O=Observation A=Application P=Prayer  SOAP for the soul.

S.  Zech 8:23  "This is what the LORD Almighty says: In those days ten people from nations and languages around the world will clutch at the hem of one Jew's robe. And they will say, 'Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.' " NLT

O.  Israel was exiled from her own country for she had sinned greatly.  Now Zechariah, the Prophet tells of a wonderful day to come.

A.  Perhaps we could say this prophecy was fulfilled in the time of Jesus.  People came from all the surrounding countries, drawn to “The Teacher.”  In John 12 a group of foreigners came wanting to see Jesus.  Today it is: “Christ in us, the hope of glory”  Colossians 1:27  I wonder how many people are wanting to walk with the Christ that is within me.

P.  Oh Lord, make me... make us... to become attractive to people who are hungry to know God... so that they will want to walk with You, the One Who live within us.  May my life demonstrate Your integrity, Your love and Your joy!  Amen.
