Majesty! Worship His Majesty!

Scripture Reading: Eze 38 - 39    Psalm 145    Rev 20
S=Scripture O=Observation A=Application P=Prayer SOAP for the soul.

S.  Ps 145:8-12 The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power, to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His kingdom. NKJV

O.  Not just the saints, but all the works of the Lord praise Him. From the tiny humming bird to the great eagle, their beauty displays the Creator’s majesty. I am often surprised by the melody of the mocking birds that rise early each morning to sing His praises. And the pretty yellow canary, although trapped in a tiny cage sings His glory.

A.  Must I be having a good day to sing my Creator’s praise? There are times, like yesterday as I met a dear friend from the distant past. Steve Asmuth played his accordion, violin or organ, as I played the lap steel guitar or the piano. We played and sang along with the Kazas family, worshiping the One Who invented music and placed it deep down in our soul. I feel sadness for those who have to make their music about a broken relationship, a lost lover. They need to know the ever-faithful Lover of my soul.

P.  Oh what joy to serve You, my King! Oh how blessed to gather some of Your people and share the good things that You have done and still are doing in each of our lives! How glorious heaven will be, as we join our loved ones and those of ancient times to lay our treasures at Your feet and sing of Your majesty!  Amen!

Majesty
By Jack Hayford

Majesty
Worship His majesty
Unto Jesus, be all glory, honor and praise
Majesty
Kingdom authority
Flows from His throne, unto His own, His anthem raise

So exalt, lift up on high the Name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King
Majesty, worship His majesty
Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings

Jesus who died, now glorified
Jesus who died, now glorified
King of all kings
